A Dice Cup

Dice are thrown for luck, good or bad

The Dice Cup on its side.

Gambling was a traditional pastime of our ancestors. This rune represents the taking of a risk which may not always be necessary, but desirable if you wish to achieve something for yourself; it generally indicates a favourable result. It can also represent something hidden coming to light e.g. the recovery of something lost or a second chance. In its purest form it means a lucky gamble - lady luck (the norns) favouring your actions.
